When it comes to gaming and comics, I love a nice blend between fantasy, romance, and slice of life. That might seem like an odd combination, but I’ve managed to find media that suits my taste. That being said, it’s only naturally for me to check out Level 1 Housewife. Based on the banner alone, I can tell this battle tested warrior chose love. Given the joy in his face, it’s easy to see that this short king loves his muscle momma as well. Still…switching job titles can’t be easy. That’s where the humor comes into play.
How Did We Get Here
Let’s just say a fruit merchants chance encounter with a Amazonian like warrior went from love at first sight to wifey immediately. To be fair, who knows when he’d get another chance to propose. Ladies in this line of work tend to go where the work is. I’ll admit this is a tiny spoiler, because their love story isn’t revealed immediately, but I felt the need to explain this heart throb moment below. Don’t get it twisted, Hubby is strong in his own way.
Moved by his proposal, passion for his work, and th overall package made retiring a no brainer. With no regrets, she became a housewife. Let’s just say her previous work experience didn’t transition into home management…
What’s Life Like For These Two?
Well, Angie, which is short for Angrboda, is not just a housewife noob. She’s basically Level 0 for domestic tasks. So these love birds are single handedly keeping the church afloat. Resurrection isn’t cheap, but it keeps thing lively. Pun intended. Believe it not both need help from time to time. Hubby more often than not. Keep in mind, they live in a town full of humans and other humanoid mythical creatures. Random bodily harm is still probable in this environment. Potential love rivals as well.
Fortunately, they only have eyes for each other. So we avoid miscommunication/misunderstanding trope, which is nice. You don’t have to have a couple that’s insecure about their relationship for an enjoyable Fantasy Romance. Because of that, they aren’t necessarily the best couple to seek for relationship advice either. No. I won’t elaborate.
