This year December 31st fell on a weekday. That might make it feel like any other day for some of us. Holiday Pay isn’t guaranteed. In order for people to take full advantage of their days off, somebody has to work. If you’re not doomed to clock in this week, here’s a few things that you should keep in mind.
- Check Gift Receipts for Holiday Return
- Just because many stores offer a longer refund deadline, doesn’t mean you can wait till tomorrow to return them
- 2024 to 2025 Monthly Planners have experied
- If you bought a 2-year planner back in 2024, it’s time to get a new one
- Deep Cleaning isn’t restricted to Spring Cleaning
- It’s actually a good time to get rid of it donate things that aren’t serving you anymore. Like make room for the holiday bounty your family unwrapped last week
- Decide whether Jan 1st will be a relaxing day or a productive day
- New Year’s Day fell on Hump Day this year. If you’re fortunate enough to have Paid Time Off tomorrow, decide how you’re going to spend it. A majority of good and services will still be open tomorrow. This isn’t Christmas Day
- Take advantage of Christmas Mark Downs. Christmas treats and decorations are 75% and up
- Now’s the time to replenish decor that didn’t make it through this holiday season. As long as their not expired, you can get sweets for your pantry. Why pay full price early for Valentine’s Day candy that someone might eat before February
That’s all I’ve got today folks. Do what you will with this information. If you’d rather enjoy some much needed rest, by all means relax. After all, these are just a few friendly reminders. Happy New Year’s Eve!
