For every critically acclaimed game, there are random games with good marketing budgets. Yes, quality is in the eye of the beholder. That being said, I’d like to know how Mister Mosquito came into fruition. In general, this insect is despised by all. The player is signing themselves up for stinging others in the hopes that they are not squashed for there transgressions.

At first, it was only available in Japan. Sony Computer Entertainment released Mr. Mosquito June 21, 2001. Although the game was Developed by Zoom, Fresh Games released it internationally Spring of 2002. This stealth game had 12 stages with straightforward objectives, that was rereleased for PS4 and PS5 last year.
Initial Thoughts
Right off the bat, I was not expecting to be guilt tripped about harming Mosquitos. Like what? Since you’ll be doing the biting instead of the crushing, it makes sense the narrator is on your side. Apparently, your character harasses the Yamada family, who is actively trying to protect look themselves from you. You’re objective is to collect enough sustenance from this family to survive the winter.
Why Does This Game Live Rent Free In My Mind
To be honest, I don’t care for PlayStation, nor Xbox. I’m a Nintendo Gamer. There’s only a handful of games I’ll play out of necessity on PlayStation and Xbox. So, I wasn’t actively staying alert for PS2 games back then.
It’s the commerical that got me. Fresh Games activity prompted Mr. Mosquito, which just goes to show you press and commercialism matter. I couldn’t find the U.S. commerical for this game, but I did find the Japanese promotion.
The nostalgia factor can get games like this rereleased decades later. You’d be surprised how many complete gameplay and walkthroughs are out there. If anything, this should motivated us to bring our ideas into fruition.
