Experimental Beauty: ESO Lip Balm Review

Proper lip care prevents cracked and dried lips. There are many things to be insecure about, don’t let your mouth be one of them. Seasonal allergies and weather impact lip care, because they take moisture away from your lips. I do not care for Chapstick.

In my opinion, the brand is lumpy and dries out quickly. Chapstick maintains lip health, it doesn’t improve or repair damage. It’s price mirrors other brands that are more effective. This is why I do not buy it.

Normally, I use Blistex and Soft Lips. Both moisturize and cool lips. When you apply it, you can feel it going to work right away. Both brands are great, but I couldn’t resist trying Evolution of Smooth (EOS) Lip Balm. After receiving word of mouth from enough friends, I decided to purchase Strawberry Sorbet and Summer Fruit.

Pros: It’s cute sphere shape allows you to rub on lip balm evenly. Also, you don’t have to worry about smearing excess lip balm on the cap or tube. They smell great. The product is all natural.

Cons: You can not comfortably keep this in your pocket. The shape is bulgy and awkward in clothing. The grooves that lock the top and place can collect particles. Make sure you wipe this area down with a Kleenex.

Overall, each sphere cost $3.29. The price is fair and it last longer than Soft Lips. I wouldn’t replace Blistex and Soft Lips with it. I like all three equally. Plus, this one doesn’t travel as easily as the other two. I usually keep one of these in my makeup bag.

Sharing is caring! Let me know what you think.
