All Aspects of Life are Rooted in Style
I've been impatiently waiting for The Apothecary Diaries return and have written a few posts leading up to this day. As a Light Novel girly, I can't resist reading beyond mangas when possible. I wasnt surprised seeing Moamao back in the pleasure district with no direct screen time with Jinshi. Nor Maomao finding a former... Continue Reading →
Glasses with a Chance of Delinquent is an interesting spin on reinventing yourself from a Delinquent's perspective. Initially, we were getting a restrained version of the Delinquent from the Female Leads perspective. Since she was terrorized in middle school, she's got an aversion to Delinquents. But Our self reformed Male Lead uses the cracks in... Continue Reading →
You know it's nice when an unexpectedly cozy anime becomes an ongoing series. It's not uncommon for cozy animes/mangas to end with cliffhangers. Studios tend to take more risks with action driven anime than light hearted stories. Those of us that have been burned enough by discontinued anime are numb to this fact and somewhat... If your not a regular visitor here, I'm assuming you found this because you finished this slow burn fantasy romance anime. You're probably thinking there's more to the story. You'd be right. Good News: There's a manga adaption and Light Novels. Before we get into that, let's make sure everyone else knows what where talking about.... Continue Reading →
Sometimes, I'm in the mood for an animated romantic comedy. The slow pace is refreshing, and misunderstandings don't last five episodes for the sake of drama. The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague met that criteria. Based on the anime, Fuyutsuki is on her way to her first day of work. She's gotten along... Continue Reading →
If you're an anime fan, the winter lineup has been fruitful. Solo Leveling is back for Season Two. This popular anime is based on a Manwha, Korean Comic, that's available to read for free on Tapas. In fact, you can complete the main story for free with a few side stories. After that, you've gotta... Continue Reading →
A few weeks ago, I predicted that The Apothecary Diaries Season Two Episode One would resume at Manga Volume 8, Chapter 41 Books and likely end with Chapter 42 The Cat. When the episode ended, I wasn't surprised that Episode 2 would start with The Caravan. More importantly, the opening credits gave more Easter eggs... Continue Reading →
Since 2025 is literally a day away, what's the point of finishing the year on a serious note. It's time for Meme Mondays With Trisha! That and Apothecary Diaries Season Two debuts January 10, 2025. Needless to say, I'm excited and decided to use this as an excuse to do a Monday post about it.... Continue Reading →
Typically, I am not a Day One anime fan, meaning someone that supports a show a few episodes into it's first season. In fact, I'm more likely to watch an anime that has two fully dubbed seasons than starting a new series with subtitles. The Apothecary Diaries is an acception. I loved the anime so...
