Meme Mondays with Trisha : Thirtysomething

If 50 is over the hill, why do people act like 30 is so close to it? It’s like over night, we are too old to do the things we enjoyed in our 20s. That is why Meme Mondays with Trisha was inspired by the Thirtysomething gang. There is something about this age bracket that gradually unites people going through similar events in their lives. Like the Thirtysomething gang.

Thanks for the GIF, Cookies and Sangria!

Yep, that’s a Gilmore Girl reference from A Year in the Life. These bright eyed and bushy tailed young adults have decided to permenatly root themselves in Stars Hallow, Connecticut. Since this mini series explores Rori Gilmore’s transient lifestyle, the Thirtysomething gang is used for comic relief.

Truthfully, they are the next generation of Stars Hallow. These will be the folks running town meetings, sharing gossip, and banding together for special occasions. If Rori intends to stay in Stars Hallow, she may want to play nice. Sorry for the Gilmore Girl rant. That’s not why you came here. Let’s check out this week’s memes!

Yes, I have several games in progress on my Nintendo Switch Lite
I am a fan of afternoon gatherings that allow me to go home at a reasonable hour…
It’s a weird age bracket to be in. Too young for the “adults’ and to old to relate to the teens…
It’s right up there with how’s the weather conversations…

There you have it. It was difficult finding PG memes for this category. I may need to be more specific with my search terms. By the way, is my weekly meme banner giving Saved By The Bell vibes?

Just a thought. See you tomorrow for Tuesday’s mystery post!

Sharing is caring! Let me know what you think.
