Yep, that’s a Gilmore Girl reference from A Year in the Life. These bright eyed and bushy tailed young adults have decided to permenatly root themselves in Stars Hallow, Connecticut. Since this mini series explores Rori Gilmore’s transient lifestyle, the Thirtysomething gang is used for comic relief.
Truthfully, they are the next generation of Stars Hallow. These will be the folks running town meetings, sharing gossip, and banding together for special occasions.
