Motivational Mondays with Trisha: Tsundoku

It’s officially 2025 and your To Be Read (TBR) list barely bugged in 2024. In fact, it’s already growing. If this is hitting home, don’t worry! This week’s post is for my book Lovers that have an extensive  TBR stack of books waiting to be read. Did you know that you are practicing Tsundoku? It is the act of aquiring books and letting them pile up without reading them. This may seem like book hoarding, but I disagree. The presence of books in my living space is soothing. I like that it makes books feel accessible. Although I own a bookshelf, I don’t believe that books should restricted to it. Nor do the stacks need to be unsightly. Personally, I like to put some of my books in decorative baskets. Regardless of how you arrange your TBR, enjoy their presence in your home.
