A few weeks ago, I predicted that The Apothecary Diaries Season Two Episode One would resume at Manga Volume 8, Chapter 41 Books and likely end with Chapter 42 The Cat. When the episode ended, I wasn’t surprised that Episode 2 would start with The Caravan. More importantly, the opening credits gave more Easter eggs than expected. You don’t have to read the manga to spot the clues, many are featured on the cover art.
Since Season Two was green lit for 24 Episodes, I predict we’ll get a major reveal between Episodes 10-12. This is how things played out last season. While fans eagerly await Episodes 13, they won’t want to leave the issue unresolved. More than likely the 2-week break will cause a spike in manga and light novel purchases. Which is a smart tactic.
What Manga Volumes Can I Follow Along With
To be honest, I’ve already borrowed or put holds on The Apothecary Diaries Manga Volumes featured below. If my prediction is correct, these four should cover the first half of Season Two. Technically, Volume 8 should be featured here, but most of Volume 8 is Season One’s finale. The last two episodes and bonus episodes cover Season Two, Episode One.

Is it a little underhanded? Yes. However, I wanted to refresh my memory and avoid high number spots on Libby’s waitlist. Why? From a budget perspective, I don’t reread manga enough to justify buying hard copies. It might not be true fandom behavior, but I prefer to fan girl within my means.
Final Thoughts

Crunchyroll serves have a tendency to get bombarded on premier day. If I can’t watch due to buffering, I can always wait till less people are watching. Although I’ve refreshed my memory, I’m excited to see how it plays in color and dubbed. I’m looking forward to reading Volume 13, which will be available March 3, 2025. If you still haven’t checked out The Apothecary Diaries, now’s the time to get caught up. Thanks for stopping by. See ya next week for Motivational Mondays with Trisha!
