Magnify Your Style’s: Adele

AdeleAdele has touched the hearts of many women this millennium. Her music is full of soul and meaning, which is very refreshing. Since she has many chart toping songs out, it can be hard to remember some of her earlier work, like Chasing Pavement. The first time I saw this video was my sophomore year in college. I was sitting in my dorm watching a rerun of Vh1’s Top Video countdown. Before I knew the face behind the voice, I liked the artistic thought that went into the video. The director was able to incorporate pavement by using the sidewalk as a back drop for the characters on the video. This was creative and the camera angles looked amazing. Adele’s Chasing Pavement is not like her recent work. It is more innocent and mellow. It’s very laid back and easy-going. If you’re looking to relax and spend some quality time with yourself, add Chasing Pavement to your play list.
