Have you noticed Silk is taking over the dairy aisle? Silk is not the only dairy substitute product in the market, but it is a diverse product. Personally, I’ve tried Silk Vanilla Almond Milk, Dark Chocolate Almond Milk, Cashew Milk, and Dark Chocolate Cashew Milk. Usually, I add them to protein shakes or cereal. Though they are great alone, they don’t mix well with coffee. Honestly, I drink about 2 to 6 cups of coffee a day. If I’m not using my Deadpool Coffee Mug, I have 2 Bubba Insulated Tumblers ready to go. As a result, I use a lot of creamer. Since I drink a lot of coffee, I wanted a creamer that I could use without sugar. Also, I did not want a creamer that’s calorie per serving equaled a cup of juice.
During a routine shopping trip, I came across a new creamer. At the time, Silk Vanilla Almond Creamer came in Pint Container. At this point, I used Silk products for a couple of years. I thought, “What do I have to lose?” I put it in the cart and checked out. As a side note, I was out of creamer. So, I tried it right away. Silk Vanilla Almond Creamer is very strong. Depending on the amount of coffee you drink in one sitting, 2 tablespoons is enough. If you use more than that, it will taste very sweet. In my opinion, you don’t have to add sugar or alternative sweeteners. In my case, Silk Vanilla Almond Creamer met my criteria. The calorie intake is reasonably low and I do not need to add sugar. However, I needed a larger carton. Fortunately, Silk changed the packaging.
Silk Vanilla Almond Creamer is available in refrigerated pint and quart bottles. I prefer quart bottles. In my opinion, Silk Vanilla Almond Creamer is good creamer. Lately, all Silk Almond Creamers received negative reviews. Most of the negative reviews are coming from loyal users that noticed a difference in taste and ingredients. I finished my latest bottle of creamer this morning. Personally, I did not notice a difference, but you deserve to know the good and the bad. If you want to try it, I suggest waiting for a sale. Keep in mind, non-dairy products cost more than dairy products. To move products, many stores provide in-store coupons. If you don’t like it, you only lost a few dollars.
Do you want to try Silk Vanilla Almond Creamer? If you are using it, do you think it taste different?
