Meme Mondays with Trisha: Cool for the Summer

After a few weeks of motivational quotes, I felt like shifting the gears to memes. But what type of memes should I look for. At first, they were going to be beach bodies. Then, I randomly channeled Demi Lovato’s Cool for the Summer. I’m not particularly in love with her song. I have it, because it was a single in a fitness album tailored for runners. It’s a cute pop song that lives rent free in my head like Tripledent Gum…Yep, I brought Inside Out into this. Totally unrelated, but it’s how my mind works. Sorry not sorry.

Like the fictional commerical, It’s catchy and pops up randomly. To bad Summers typically scorching hot. Yes, I know the song is basically about summer flings based on attraction. Summer is a few weeks away. In the spirit of being difficult for no good reason, let’s acknowledge the exasperating heat in the room.

That dreadful feeling when the A/C stops working and the fans aren’t cutting it…
Honestly, my favorite seasons are Spring and Autumn. Not to hot, not to cold, and layers are optional. Basically, I’m already thinking about pumpkins patches.
You know it’s hot when you can see the water vapors evaporating as they leave the fridge. Can we take a moment to appreciate The Golden Girls?
This one spoke to me. Do you know how hot oven and stove top cooking makes the kitchen? I know heat rises but it’s trapped in there!
Don’t sugar coat it Weather man. If that’s how it’s going to feel, it’s 107 degrees!
All jokes aside, I used to buy her birthday cards all the time. This gold was printed in 2011.

That’s all folks for summer heat memes. Hope you smirked and/or chuckled today. See you tomorrow for Tuesday’s mystery post!
