Motivational Mondays with Trisha: Thankful

Our last Motivational Monday was about Hygge. I want to continue building on that by focusing on being thankful this week. My thoughts went here because Thanksgiving is a few weeks away. Although the history behind the federal holiday is dark, we can still aspire to find things in our lives that we are thankful for. That’s harder for some to do than others. Life can harden us. Over coming adversity and walking out on the other side doesn’t automatically generate a thankful outlook. We’re two years into 2022. Collectively everyone was impacted by the global pandemic in different ways. For some it brought opportunities and others it brought despair. If you’re only able to say, “I am thankful that I am still here.” That alone is worth being thankful for. After all, bright holiday’s still cast shadows.
