Tabatha Brown’s Sunshine All Purpose Seasoning was on my radar for a while. It was surprisingly hard to find. From my experience, most McCormick products are stocked near each other. Yet, I couldn’t find Sunshine. Finally, I was able to get a bottle from Sam’s Club. So far, I’ve used it to season chicken, pork chops, and eggplant. I’ll admit the eggplant didn’t work out well. That’s not because of Sunshine. I didn’t get the crisp exterior that I was trying for. So they ended up being too soggy. Getting back on track, the all purpose seasoning had a surprising kick. If your not used to ginger, it knocks Pineapple and Mango out of its way and hit your taste buds immediately. My family liked it. Overall, sunshine has a distinct fresh summer aroma. Sadly, I don’t use the blend as often as I’d like. That’s why I’m looking forward to Tabitha Brown and McCormick’s latest collaboration.
Welcome To The Family
As you can see we’re getting two new bottles and three seasoning mixes. Although Tabitha Brown is vegan, this new line up is meat lover friendly. Just like Sunshine, each spice blend has a unique name. Very Good Garlic and Like Sweet Like Smokey All Purpose Seasoning sound promising. From a glance, their color pallets fits their blend, which makes it pleasing to the eye. The burger, taco, and saute seasoning mixes share the same surname. As long as your using the right amount of ingredients, they’ll be ready to handle their business.

To my surprise, I saw Tabitha Brown’s announcement on her IG, before KevOnStage spread the word. Since he persuaded me to check out Tab a few years ago, it felt right to share his audio about the new spices too.
Final Thoughts
Although Tabitha Brown is a beloved public figure, her brand placement varies by location. Demand often out weighs supplies. I’m not sure how long it’ll take me to get my hand on these new spices, but I’m looking forward to cooking with them.
