Motivational Mondays with Trisha: Native American Proverbs

There are many people within the United States that have a complicated relationship with the founding fathers. The North American Public School System typically covers surface level information about the settlers and indigenous people. Unless students have zealous educators, they won’t get into the weeds till college. That’s only if that school requires core history classes for graduation. I say this to say that Indigenous People, also known as, Native Americans, have held onto their heritage for centuries. That’s motivational to me. Not only as a collective, but as individual tribes as well. That’s why I decided to find Native American Proverbs. Some of these may not apply to your lives right now. When you need them, they’ll be here.
