Back in 2019, I decided to check out My Hero Academia. I’d seen anime edits about it online that made it looking interesting.Who knew it would lead to tears of joy. sorrow, and frustration for Izuku Midoriya aka Deku, aka the Ninth Wilder of One For All. Our fledgling Hero indures so much for the sake of others. His devotion to heroism and selflessness is both admirable and concerning.
Within the context of the anime, there are very few people that would endure to harness One For All. Deku had the mental fortitude as well as tenacity to reach his goal. This is why I wanted to find quotes that reflected Midoriya’s heroism. To me, he embodies what a hero is. His ideals evolve as he grows and learns from others. We may not live in a super hero society mixed with quirks, there’s something we can get from this story.
