So, technically I visit Tapas, a webcomic app, daily because I need to earn ink for the webcomics that I want to read. Unlike some of it’s competitors, Tapas gives several daily free tasks to earn in for in-app purchases. You see, Tapas has a pay wall for original webcomics. Meaning you’ll reach a point where you can’t unlock the next episode for free. Instead of paying for a monthly subscription, you get ink to unlock the episodes you want. This makes it an ideal webcomic option for conscious consumers and readers on a strict entertainment budget. Oh I forgot to mention, these free ink events are centered around new and returning original webcomics. So, you might find your next favorite series raising free coins for your current ones. Pretty nice, right? Well, I know you didn’t come for this long explanation. So, let’s get into my current summer reads.
Forget My Husband, I’ll Go Raise Money
A princess is born with an imperial ability that her father covets. Knowing his ambitions will cause their demise. She denies her power had awaken. She choose to endure a life befitting a prisoner. Knowing what the right choices can bring prosperity to all, she welcomes a political marriage with a neighboring country that has the capabilities to pose a threat to her people. Unfortunetally her political value isnt high and her groom indifferent toward her, our abandoned princess wants to establish herself as a worthy business partner. Also, she seeks the recognition to be a formidable political ally to her groom surrounded by vipers.
I actually completed this webnovel already. This is a returning series I started reading last year. So, I’m glad I can get free ink to see those chapters illustrated.
Side Note: Webnovels are cheap to unlock. There useful for an inevitable webcomic hiatus. These aren’t like Light Novels that occasionally grace you with illustrations. I’m guessing that’s why it‘s a flat 300 ink per episode.
I Shall Master This Family
If we didnt know things would workout for Duchess Tia at the beginning of the webcomic, we’d wonder if she’d achieve her goal. Afterall, she regressed from a banished adult to a mistreated child. Not by her father, he’s actually great. It’s the disadvantage of having a commoner mother with a father that lacks a backbone. In her first life Tia obtained the knowledge needed to care for her house but not the backing to be named heir. She had no power to stop those that were destroying her house. Nor, the ability to make alliances. She knows she’s capable of learning the ins and outs of this family, as well as, hidden talent scattered around the kingdom. All she has to do now is plug herself into the life of an abandoned prince to protect her family.
My Farm By The Palace
A low ranking noble lady is willing to uphold her deed to a plot of land found within the palace. Despite being a Nobel, she spent a tender part ot her childhood with a humble commoner family that taught her the value in farming and wholesome meals. She’s taken from this cozy life and is brought back to society, but she didnt let go of that memory. In fact, she’s given land that she can cultivate. The location is great. She just so happens to be farming in the middle of a garden. The Emporer considers her farm an eye sore, but she won’t give up what rightfully belongs to her. Naturally, curious nobles begin to visit the farm. Here she unintentionally aquires support from various high profile figures in the Emporer’s court; including himself. How will he reveal who he really is without destroying their bidding friendship? I’m not sure, the coward hasn’t revealed himself.
Lord Baby Runs A Romance Fantasy With Cash
Have you read so many transmigration webcomics that you’d feel prepared to take on any one of them? What if it was a story you’d never read before? What would you do? The obvious answer is use the knowledge and tropes you’ve gathered along the way. But there’s one problem? How is an unloved daughter supposed to get access to that kind of information? Well the god of this world is gracious. He’s willing to offer daily rewards, give her objectives to complete, and allow her to purchase stories that give her the power of that universe’s heroine. It shouldn’t be that hard to get a cold hearted father and brooding brothers to love such a pink furball…right?
