Useful Kitchen Essentials from Dollar Tree

Like many people, I don’t care for the Dollar Tree quality items with Family Dollar prices. I will say, they’ve been careful about what items cost more than $1.25. Keep in mind, going up 25 cents was already controversial, because we’ve already got Family Doller and Dollar General. They’re prices vary. So, consumers don’t expect the majority of their inventory to cost a Dollar. That’s not the case for Dollar Tree. Over the years, I’ve reduced how much I spend here, because some items aren’t worth their new prices.  That being said, there’s plenty of kitchen and pantry items that I still buy for my home.

• Splatter Screens –
  • I got this idea from Linna in  Japan. Splash guards are useful, but these reduce how much splatter is escaping the pan.

• Vinyl Food Prep Gloves –
  • I don’t like touching certain textures. These help me cook for my family without getting over stimulated. Honestly, Walmart vinyl gloves are better, but these are good back up.

• Square Parchment Paper –
  • If you’ve bought processed hamburger patties, some of the frozen patties are separated by parchment paper. You can get these to separate you’re homemade burger patties

• Rectangle Parchment Paper –
  • If the budget is tight but you need Parchment Paper for your toaster oven/air fryer, Dollar Tree has precursor rectangle Parchment Sheets.

• Hand held strainer –
  • Sometimes you really dont need a large strainer. I use this to drain kraft macaroni and cheese noodles. These are good for rinsing canned vegetables as well.

• Handheld grater –
  • I prefer these over a full-sized grater, because they’re are easier to clean. I use them to grate cheese and root vegetables

• Cooking Spoon Holder –
  • These are useful cause your cooking spoon has to go somewhere

• Wash Tub –
  • If you don’t have a kitchen stopper, these are useful for soaking dishes

• Dish Racks –
  • A cheap way to dry dishes. They aren’t very durable. So you may replace these sooner than pricier dish racks

• Sink Trays –
  • These are a good way to catch food scrapes that get stuck to dishes. These can also elevate wash tubs

• Sented Wastebags –
  • Of all these items, I buy these the most. I like the quality of the bag and they help trap bad smells. They are similar to the quality of bags cleaning staff use in office buildings. They come in different sense

I may not lean on Dollar Tree for a lot of my crafting supplies anymore. For now, they still have items that help me manage my home. I’ll continue to buy these as needed till I’m priced out of these items. Like I said, I don’t agree with some of these prices. So, I have reached a point where some of these items are not a bargain anymore. If you shop at Dollar Tree, what made you go, that’s to much for this.
