Motivational Mondays with Trisha: Ningen Dakara

You know what’s interesting about being an adult. It can feel like there’s a plethora of things and circumstance that can affect our mood. These triggers can call fourth more than one emotion. That’s why Ningen Dakara matters. Life’s already demanding. We can have mixed emotions about our daily grind, as well as, unmet expectations. Because we are human, Ningen Dakara. Now, I am choosing to highlight this word for it’s reflective meaning. The funny thing about duality,  is this Japanese phrase can also be dismissive. Like a “don’t expect better from me” type of phrase used to quickly bypass others reactions to our actions. So, if you feel conflicted about seeing the motivation behind this phrase, that’s understandable.  I hope these quotes show that this phrase doesn’t have to represent dismissive outlooks on human beings and their actions.
