To avoid eating for taste, sweet and savory are two flavors I need for a balanced small meal. I am a grazer. Most of the time, I eat small portions throughout the day with plenty of water. If I remember to keep the pantry stocked with Ritz Crackers, PB&J (Jam not Jelly) are one of my go to snacks between meals. This simple treat inspired today’s comfort food slash nostalgic snack recipe. Is it necessary? Not really. Do I adjust the measurements based on my mood? Yes. So why share? Because simple snacks like PB&J Crackers require ingredients and steps.
For starters, you don’t need a stove or oven to do it. Although, I am tempted to try Imamu Rooms Strawberry Jam recipe [fast-forward to sandwich day for demonstration]. I just wish I knew how to make it seedless. [Getting back on track] These simple recipes are confidence builders. I cook a majority of my families meals. This life skill didn’t curate over night. It took the early victories.

If you called my bluff, I’m actually practicing writing and formatting recipe posts. Technically, my first attempt was a potatoes soup post way back in the day. Earlier this year, I wrote a tomato sandwich post too. Consider this a good sign that more recipe oriented posts are in the works!

Thank you for the encouragement 😊 Happy Holidays 🎄☃️
