Prior to our humor break (Meme Mondays), we talked about storms. Rather than starting a new topic, I felt like diving deeper into storms created by holiday stress. Although the Bermonths create memories, it can be stressful time of year too. Let’s be honest about it. Mid-Winter 2022 through Mid-Summer 2022 was filled with price spikes. Specifically on essential goods. Yes, this is an annual trend, but the price peaks were so severe that even financial secure consumers were disgruntled as well. As a result, some consumers had to adjust their disposable income budget to stay afloat. Why does this matter?
The Bermonths consist of Back-to-School, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Whether you observe these special occasions or not, consumers are still impacted by rise and fall of prices in preparation for these holidays. That is why I wanted to put more of an emphasis on giving yourself grace. Starting holiday stress three to four months in advance does not help. Stressing about things that will lead to holiday stress is counter productive. That is why I want to find motivational quotes that address holiday stress.
Realistically, some of you may need more than a few quotes to quell the anxiety that is trying to steal your joy. Those that are interested can find holiday stress relief tips at the end of this post. By the way, some holiday stress it brought on by Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). If you find yourself feeling depressed with no clear trigger for it, you might be vulnerable to Seasonal Affective Disorder. There will be posts on how to soothe SAD symptoms too.
