Motivational Mondays with Trisha: Elegance

Thanks to Peacock TV’s exclusive partnership with Bravo, I watched The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Throughout Season One, Kyle (one of my favorite Beverly Hills Housewives) kept singing “Money can’t buy you class.” I thought she was making a dig at Ladies (present company) that she felt were acting classless. Turns out, the second line to the hook is “Elegance is learned my friend.” I found that out because, Luanne ended the Girls Trip with a live performance of her one hit wonder and I loved it! So much so that I felt the need to track down the song and video, which was posted on YouTube 11 years ago…Fair warning, there is a lot of autotune. The video is giving late 80s to early 90s pop/dance vibes. It’s cute like a song you could sing with your friends at Karaoke night.

You’d think all the Bridgerton books I’ve read over the summer would have brought about elegance themed post sooner. Alas, it wasn’t literature…it was Luanne’s catchy hook that inspired this week’s motivational theme. If it it seems like elegance is a sharp left turn from declutter, it’s not in your head. We were making a right turn, but isn’t life more fun than that way? I think it is. The pattern of my weekly post might surprise you, but they’ll always have motivation in mind. Let’s thank Countess Luanne by empowering our week with elegant quotes.
