Sunflowers have three distinct colors; green, yellow, and brown. They remind me of the earth and the sun, because plants need the earth to take root and the sun to grow. Yes, water plays a role here, but this liquid is translucent. It’s going to take on the pigment of the object it lands on. Aside from their color, they’re one of the tallest and strongest flowers that I’ve seen. They need strong stems to endure incliment weather. They achieve great heights in groups. I bring this up to encourage you all to think about your core strengths. I want you to think about how those strengths are enhanced in a group setting. Does your environment give you strength or does it leave you feeling drained? Some of us naturally radiant. It’s not something we can withhold, but that doesn’t mean every garden requires your nourishment.
